It happened to me and I am angry, upset, anxiety through the roof, stressed out, and want revenge! These cyber psychos are relentless and I hate that it is happening to me. Ugh, I am going to share this and hope it will help someone else.

So I received a message on my instagram account asking for help logging in from a person that I thought I knew. I said this is weird and can’t help them but they said they just needed me to screenshot a message to confirm their account. Well I did it and all hell broke lose!

They were able to log in and changed my email and password, snatch up YEARS of content, all my of business and my heart sank. I immediately tried to change my password but within seconds it was too late.

TIP #1 DO NOT BELIEVE A WEIRD MESSAGE FROM ANYONE REQUESTING HELP LOGGING IN

They changed my instagram handle because I went on my other accounts and put the word out that my account was hacked and stolen and do not make any purchases on it. They messaged me and said take it down! Are you fucking serious? I said give me my account back. I was then blocked.

TIP #2 LOG INTO YOUR OTHER ACCOUNTS AND CHANGE YUR PASSWORD AND THEN BLAST THEY ASS

Haha jokes on them because I have multiple accounts so I was able to see the name they changed it to. I also removed my Shopify store access to my account, disconnected it from my site, from tik tok and tried the recovery twitch instagram. For some reason their camera functions were not working for me to recover my account so I said to hell with it. It’s gone and I don’t want to bring my fashion business back on here after all of this. I honestly did not get any sales from instagram anyway. My sales are direct from my site or Facebook.

Then I started getting messages from people I am close to about messages they were receiving from my fake account talking about bitcoin scams and cash app scams ugh! So they shared the screenshots with me and I went off! Tagging instagram and the police. They are going down and I am going to do everything in my power to bring them down in flames. I am going to find them.

TIP #3 CONTACT THE FBI AND IC3 AND REPORT CYBER CRIME

Luckily I was able to still access some of the messages in my business manager and see who they contacted and the other accounts involved. I provided all of this information to the FBI so hopefully they will catch these fuckers. I know where they access my account so I will let the authorities do the rest.

TIP #4 SCREENSHOT ALL MESSAGES AND THE NOTIFICATIONS WITH LOCATION ACCESS INFORMATION

It’s so disheartening that someone has access to all of my photos and videos and are intentionally using it for fraud. In the end, I just have to pray they get caught and they get prosecuted for ruining my social media life. I hope this does not happen to you. But if it does, hit them with everything you got!
