This post is about celebrating all of the melaninated models of the fashion week season. I scoured endless couture and ready-to-wear collection pictures and videos on the Vogue Runway app from the spring/summer 2019 season to create this montage of melanin models. These beauties fight for the right to slay the runway, the right to be seen amongst the creativity of designers. Their walk is impeccable, their looks are often imitated, and they, to put it as simple as possible, rule the catwalk. These models embody what it means to edgy and opulent. Some of the looks have even made it into the hands of celebrities, can you guess which ones? So without further ado, here are some of the top looks of models with melanin.
