I am so torn between the two most famously fashion fabulous icons. They both have elegant cafes located in the heart of Dubai. Vogue Cafe is located in Dubai Mall and Harper’s Bazaar is located in the Dubai Design District building 9 also known as D3. They also have another location in the City Walk area. Let’s take a look at each of them and see who gets the Edgy Opulence crown 👑! The crown ratings go from 1 crown (meh) to 7 crowns (absolutely unequivocally a fabulous establishment) based on price, food quality, ambience, and customer service.

Harper’s Bazaar Cafe

Ambience: 👑👑👑👑👑

The seating is super comfortable and plus size friendly which I loved because the hips don’t lie. It actually looks like you are inside of the magazine. The decoration is fabulous, a touch of modern with a splash of nerd due to all of the reading material. I felt right at home and of course they have hundreds of issues of Bazaar on the shelves and tables in an elevated seating area.

Food Quality: 👑👑👑👑

I arrived during brunch so I ordered a light breakfast which consisted of French toast with sliced banana, almond flakes, and Nutella syrup and two eggs scrambled. To my surprise, the eggs were served on toast and avocado. However, the eggs were served cold, but still very delicious and the presentation was everything. But no one likes cold eggs hence the rating. The French toast was so good!

Vogue Cafe

Ambience: 👑👑👑👑👑👑

Vogue Cafe is located in the heart of Level Shoes inside Dubai Mall. The seating is also plus size friendly, very luxurious with marble tables, white leather seating, and filled with elegance and comfort. The menu is gorgeous and you feel like a super star model being seated there.

Customer Service: 👑👑👑👑👑👑

Food Quality: 👑👑👑👑👑👑

The food is delicious! Their number one best seller is the Kale Salad and I guarantee you it’s the best Kale Salad you will ever have in your life! I also ordered the fried prawns on my second visit and they were very good. Some of the servings are small for the price, but the Salad in combination with an appetizer and you are golden for at least five hours.

So which fashion icon wins the Edgy Opulence crown?? Vogue Cafe! You have to have that Kale Salad! Both of the restaurants are beautiful and worth a visit, especially as a Dubai fashionista!
